How I got started
Mahjong was introduced to me by one of my best friends over a girls weekend in 2025. Oh boy, was I hooked! I started playing online while I tried finding a local place to play. In January 2026, a neighborhood Facebook page led me to a group of woman who shared the excitement of playing Mahjong. While I taught many of them to play, this group of woman really helped me grow my desire to continue the community of Mahjong.
I hope to continue to be part of the growing Mahjong community in Madison Wisconsin and watch the pure joy as people scream "Mahjong" their first time.
